How to Buy a Puppy

April 08, 2020

I have lost count of how many telephone conversations I have had with people desperate to buy a puppy who say they just can’t get one.

I am a hobby breeder. It is not a source of income, I have puppies because I love raising them with Lupin my Springer who is an amazing mother. She has had three litters now with thirty-one puppies who have brought joy to me and to their families. We stay in touch on a private facebook group.

Everyone advertises their litters on Pets 4 Homes, but for my third litter this was only to offer some of the puppies as I had a waiting list built up over the past year from people who had met my other dogs. If you have decided the time is right to get a dog, then you need to look everyday on Pets 4 Homes. My puppies go within hours of posting and so will other good breeders dogs.

Register on an many local lists as you can. We are selling animals who we love and who we want to have excellent homes and happy lives. So sending a one line email or text saying for example “I am interested in a male puppy” with your name is not going to push you to the top of any breeders list.

In this case you have to literally sell yourselves. All good breeders will interview each family before agreeing to let them have a puppy. To get to the interview stage send an email with as much information about yourselves as possible and do a follow up phone call or whatsapp video call. If a breeder invites you to like one of their social media pages, then like it and then show evidence of interest on their posts.  The breeder will then send you alot of information and answer any questions you have.

If you have one of my puppies then welcome to my Sproodle family. If you are still looking then I wish you Good Luck. If you ever need my Dog Listening skills in the future or any help with a dog then please do contact me for a free consult call.

I enjoy teaching families dog listening via video chat so they can solve all their dogs issues. I also breed and raise the best sproodle puppies I can.
